Northumbria Walking Group |
The Northumbria Walking Group is a group of people who like to go out walking. The group is primarily for people who are in their 20's and 30's but many members are in their 40's and early 50's
We are based in Newcastle but also cover Durham, Sunderland and Northumberland. Members lead walks most weekends to places such as Hadrian's Wall, the Cheviots, the Northumberland coast, Simonside, the Tyne valley etc. We also have weekends away to the Lake District, Scotland, Yorkshire Dales, Snowdonia etc and occasional overseas holidays.
Walks range from short, 5-8 mile easy rambles to longer, 11-16 mile full-day hill walks.
Social events include regular pub nights and meals out.
The Northumbria Walking Group is part of the Ramblers. Find out more about joining or coming on trial walks with us.
For more information about us please view our FAQs
Members and walkers are reminded that they attend walks with this group at their own risk and they are responsible for their own personal safety. |

The mailing list has been updated so if you can't send or receive group e-mails it is probably because you didn't reply to the recent requests for your current Rambler's Number. |
